It is the cup that seems to have runneth over! The Laver Cup has taken tennis by storm. All those players, plus Borg, Mac, Roger, and the Rocket, it’s a veritable tennis museum come to life!
Plus, while we’re at it, let’s not just gloss over the Davis Cup. The finals will be upon us soon. Rafa’s last stand? We shall see.
It wasn’t without controversy, but Jannik Sinner got it done…impressively! Will history reflect positively on this victory, or will there be questions? Mats, we’ll let you handle that one.
Also, Aryna Sabalenka also handled plenty of adversity in 2024. How big is THIS title for her?

Carlitos is all smiles on the grass, but the Djoker getting to the final on one leg is nothing to laugh at!

Has Wimbledon ever been more wide open? Is the #2 seeded, 7-time champion even playing? Tommy Paul is definitely living his best life!

The French Champs are the best, everyone else are the rest. Carlitos was en fuego, and Iga has women’s tennis by the throat. A bit ironic that Sinner is #1 after his RG result? Is Osaka back to being a threat?
And…Johnny Mac getting a little “makeup blowback”? Is he a bit over the line, or do people just need to get a grip? Honorable mention to Jasmine for her double-final.

Lots of frustrating injuries in the men’s game, and the players can’t be happy! The with injuries and players announcing retirement plans, the field of top guys is “thinning faster than Nadal’s hair!”
